Thank You Letters from Disadvantaged Students that We Supported

Our club just received the thank you letters from the 6 disadvantaged students we supported last year who are from China’s Sichuan and Jiangxi Province. Each student is from a family facing different adversity, yet they are able to continue with their education with the money we raised and donated to them. Our club has been supporting Chinese students in need since 2015 when it is founded and some of the students already finished high school and entered college.

We proudly donated $1000 to the , all of which was raised through our performances and fundraising efforts. Additionally, we extended our gratitude to the firefighters by providing them with drinks and snacks. The donation symbolizes our appreciation for the sacrifices our firefighters make and the vital role they play in keeping us safe. In return, the firefighters brought us on an engaging  interactive tour of the department and its fire engines. Overall, it was a rewarding experience for us to give back to these selfless members of our community.

Meet students overseas

On August 12, many of our club’s tutors traveled to Beijing and met their students in-person! There, they were able to chat and get to know their students face to face, and had dinner together at Tian Fu Hao. By meeting their students in-person, our club tutors can get to know their students’ interests and personalities further than shown on a screen.
